Following his maiden victory at Silverstone, btcc.net caught up with Ollie Jackson to find out how he’s feeling about joining the BTCC winners’ circle, his journey to where he is now and look forward to this weekend’s Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship action at Croft.

“I always look to improve and move myself on as a driver and that’s how I set my goals. I think my optimism is rooted around being progressive and hitting the targets I set for myself. I’m not one of those drivers who jumps in the car and thinks ‘I’m going to win’ every time I go out.

“I like to be realistic with what I think I can do and I like to think it helps the team in that they participate in that journey with me and enjoy it with me when I hit the goals. I’ve just got to choose that next goal now!”
