Originally a motorcycling fan, Martin Depper was introduced to car racing by a friend in 2004. Following a formative career in Minis, the West Midlander first joined the BTCC in 2010, with a partial campaign in a Forster Motorsport BMW 320si that yielded a best finish of 12th place at Croft.
Depper made a victorious debut in the Volkswagen Racing Cup at Silverstone in 2012, going on to win races in a KPM-run Scirocco R in the series the following year. In 2014, he returned to the BTCC with defending champions Pirtek Racing, teaming up alongside Andrew Jordan in the team’s second Honda Civic.
In 2015, Depper recorded a brace of top ten finishes on his way to 18th overall, and he continued with Eurotech into a third consecutive season in 2016.
For 2017, Depper made the switch to Motorbase Performance as the Kent outfit expanded to a three-car team.
