Michael Epps began his career in karting before graduating to single-seaters in Formula Vee, placing second overall in 2011 ahead of a campaign in Formula Renault. A trip across the Atlantic followed, as Epps finished runner-up in IndyCar support series USF2000’s 2014 Winterfest.
A switch to tin-tops in 2015 saw Michael sign for Team HARD, where he used a Volkswagen Golf to good effect to claim five race wins on his way to sixth in the standings.
In 2016, Epps graduated to the BTCC and ran under the RCIB Insurance Racing banner in a Team HARD-prepared Toyota Avensis.
He continues as part of the Team HARD stable for 2017 with TAG Racing following a positive rookie year and a handful of points finishes – ending the campaign as runner-up in the Jack Sears Trophy.
