Tom Boardman

Experienced racer Tom Boardman is back in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in 2018 after a seven-year hiatus.

He’ll be racing one of AmD’s newly-acquired MG6s as one half of AmD with AutoAid/RCIB Insurance Racing. Boardman last competed in the BTCC’s top flight in 2010 and 2011 in a family-run SEAT Leon, taking an overall victory at Knockhill in 2011.

Since then, he’s taken part in the World Touring Car Championship and had a single outing in the TCR International Series in 2015, racing a Ford Focus ST.

Boardman entered the BTCC as early as 2001 in the Production class and a career highlight was the £100,000 cheque he took home after sealing the 2005 SEAT Cupra Challenge title.
