I would have, but it clashes with Croft, so BTCC wins.

IF I didn't have to work that weekend, I may have missed Croft to have given this a go - having watched the Monza races, its a good series and the female racer who won at Monza is HOT ;-)

Monza had a GT series supporting - but I don't know in all honesty.

Hope thats the case would make for a great day of racing, might be worth giving donington a ring to confirm

The GT Sprint series that supported them at Monza won't be coming to the UK.
Haven't seen a definitive schedule yet but sounds like being a real mixed bag. Supports include Pick-Up Truck series, 250 Superkarts and Scooter racing!

Considering it.
Definately better than DTM, can't understand why DTM looked at linking with Grand-Am and/or Super GT, when the format that should have used was a lot, just over the Alps.
Think about it, DTM has Audi and Merc, and they changung the rules to suit BMW entering, Superstars already has all 3, and also Porsche. The fact Chrysler and Chevrolet are in it could convince Grand-Am to start a class/support race for those cars too, although unlikely as the company behind grand-Am is already a big tin top series called NASCAR.

Superstars has something like ten different marques represented within its ranks.

Exactly, DTM has 2, and has changed the rules to get a 3rd to join. When superstars is based on similar cars (big, powerful RWD saloons) with similar engine sizes, but all have different strengths and weakneses, and make good racing, rather than DTMs F1 cars with doors that have the same turbulent air problems single seaters have.

I was considering it but I think I may be busy that weekend. Are all the marques that compete fully manufacturer backed or are they semi-works/independent entries?
