View Full Version : Is it true that Honda has had its boost pressure reduced further?

Ive heard a rumour that Honda are being forced to run a lower boost pressure than the rest of the turbo cars. Is this correct? If so, how can this be justified? One rule for some and another rule for others? Especially after the comments in the reduced boost thread below about it being unfair to reduce boost pressures on some cars more than others!

Let me be absolutely clear;
Exactly as we announced last week, all teams have had their boost reduced by 0.1bar from whatever level they were each running at Donington Park.
In this way we are not changing the current relative performance/power differences between each team running a turbo engine, as all turbo-engined cars have been reduced by the same amount of boost pressure from whatever each was previously competing with.
Team Dynamics/Honda Racing have not had anything different to what was announced for everybody else (i.e. the 0.1bar reduction as outlined above).
I don't think I can be any clearer than that.
