Seems this is about to be revived next year for Pre-2000 Super Tourers.

Its actually Super-2000 spec cars, which are completely different to Super Tourers. Sorry!

Should still be good though - although it would be better if the BTCC boys could race

The article in Autosport does say that those teams running Super 2000's in the BTCC would be invited (although perhaps "could" is more the correct word).

I think you have missed the point Alfa Fan - this is for the ETCC spec cars NOT BTCC spec cars!!! Therefore teams running those cars could not race. To do so would muddy the waters to say the least.:)

Even if BTCC spec aren't allowed in, if the World Cup is revived i'm sure Muller, Thommo & co. will be able to blag a ride with someone!
