At Brands yesterday Paul O'Neill and Luke Lines won their respective classes in the Britcars.
Paul was partnering Fiona Leggate in a yellow and pink MG Zs. With 17 minutes to go he was 43 seconds behind the leader but was catching him at nearly 3 seconds a lap. He was overtaking everything - I mean everything. A class 4 car is not supposed to pass the bigger stuff (maybe they never told Paul that!!) He didn't quite make it but the other car was penalised for not pitting giving Paul and Fiona the win.
Luke and Mark Lemmer in their Honda Civic had a great battle with John George and Ed Pead. Ed was in the lead until 3 or 4 laps from the end when he was tapped from behind and had to pit. Luke won with Ed and John getting third.
A great days racing - a packed track and not a 'nasty' move to be seen.
Now all I want is to see Paul back at Vauxhall next year and Luke to be out in something.
