Will beacon ever materialise?

I don't think so... but I would love to be proved wrong!

Im hoping Beacon haven't gone under otherwise my avatar will be pointless, I spent 20 minutes wondering why it wasn't working till I finally discovered the pixels were too big! :o

Lexus confirmed that they would be there in 2002, with Sutcliffe in one car and Erdos in the other, that never materialised!

beacon have confirmed they will be there but they haven't confirmed cars or drivers.

lexus were never actually ''officilly'' confirmed for last year.
but what have lexus got to do with this year???

No, Autosport reported that TMSR (not Lexus officially) were planning to run Sutcliffe and Dean (not Erdos) in 2002; TMSR didn't officially comfirm it.

:rolleyes: :p surely by now beacon must know what cars they will be running this year.

spencer marsh has to be a favourite for one of the cars.

Well they said they would be using a different car, so unless they are testing secretly, it is getting a bit late!

if it is true they are using a new car that isn't in the btcc already, has anyone got any thoughts on what car beacon might be using?

possibly nissans???

ummmmm, just thought RJN sold their ETCC nissans a few months ago although they were slow, it surely would be a better decision by beacon to go by a proven race-winning BTCC machine e.g MG, Astra, Honda
