How do you ualify as a "manufacturer entry"

Hi Alan,

What does a team have to do to be classed as manufacturer backed?

For example, Chevvy & Honda back RML & TD respectively and Ford give support to AON/Arena but don't qualify as a manufacturer..

what do you have to be doing to be deemed as Manufacturer rather than Constructor/Independent?

Very simple.....the manufacturer has to register itself for the championship.
(i.e. it's entirely up to the manufacturer if they wish to do so).
