Does anyone whether TOCA Radio has been confirmed for 2003?

Last time I spoke to Alan Hyde, he said he hoped it is staying and i certainly hope its staying!

Infortunatly It don't look likely does it. TOCAradio link taken offline and no return of the TOCA radio forums. If im right in thinking that we will just get the Motors TV feed this year and it will not be broadcast on the net? My prediction but I hope its not true :(

I would be surprised to hear just the Motors TV feed at the track or online, unless your watching the pictures to go with the sound it would be very difficult to know whats going on.

if its true its bad news for people who don't have sky.
they can't have the motorstv feed at the track or online because radio commentary is completely different to tv commentay,
radio commentary is a lot quicker and theres no little gaps because they have to describe everything thats happening, unlike tv where theres pictures telling us whats happening as well as commentary.
i'd be very surprised if there was no commentary at the track.

There will be commentary no doubt but in what format? TOCA radio is still a good bet. They cant just dump it.

Just because the commentary will not be broadcast on the radio, it does not mean there won't be a PA commentary at the races with Alan Hyde and co.

I remember during the 2000 season, there was no radio, but there was still the PA.

TOCA have to be watch how they spend their money. Maybe they put the extra cash into the Motors TV coverage. I would rather see the race on tv than the radio.

i'm alright because i'm getting sky digital next month, but ts not fair on the people who don't have sky.
last year people who weren't at the races listened to it on here, it must have been really popular.
i think i will be back this year

The problem is Toca Radio does not improve the attendance, viewing figures or general awareness of the series. Whereas, Motors tv will make the series grow.

It is unfair for the people who don't have Sky, but I'm sure that more people would watch it on Motors tv than would listen to it on the net.
