After the disappointment of losing Chit Chat, will the other forums return? Like the Question for the drivers or ToCA Radio. Or aren't they?

Chit Chat won't return (PM me).
TOCA radio might not be back in the same format as last year so whether it will need a forum I don't know.

It is a shame, but it is the way it is gonna be!

Hopefully the section where you can ask drivers questions will be back.

 :( Are they not going to broadcast TOCA Radio over the net then this season... I rely on that when I can't make the rounds...

If TOCA Radio's not "back in the same format this year", I think it'll be because it's improved. Richard West said on one of the forums that he was meeting with Alan Hyde about it, something good up their sleeve maybe?
As for the two forums, there's not much point having either until the start of the season, so I guess they might come back.

Toca Radio broadcast as a digital radio station on sky would be a good idea but then again is there any point with the Motors TV broadcast? nice idea tho.

Perhaps the thing to do is make whichever broadcaster, (SKY, NTL etc), aware of how popular their respective service is, in order to ensure its continuance. If the provider is aware of the interest it becomes harder to scrap it in subsequent years. Would love to have TOCA Race Radio form part of the digital radio service I can currently listen to on our cable TV. Radio 5 live and footy commentaries are twice as good.

Richard has answered Sim_Da_BTCC-Man's question on this subject. See Richards forum for his answer.
All is not settled yet but please carry on the discussion, there may be some ideas out there.

If you are anything like my hubby when it comes to watching footie it is game on the box, commentary on the radio so it would be race on the box and commentary on the pc :)

I tried that during the World Cup, Les, but there was a slight time delay on TV so I switched off the radio.

it's funny but that's the only time Kev can do 2 things at once!! ;)
what you do miss on the box is all those 'little bits' that Al adds in from running up and down the pits. Sometimes the box one is too sanitised - all the feeling taken out.

I've got to agree there Les - I'm really tempted to get TOCA Radio set up so I can listen to that at my friend's house why we watch the Mondello race live on his TV! It's just not as good without Al and co... I do want to check out the Motors TV coverage though, at least give them a chance. Who knows, they could snatch Al away and get him talking French! ;)

It is a very local radio around the track. It broadcasts on 1602 MW, but don't worry, they do an internet broadcast of it too!! :D
