An odd thing. I noticed whilst reading the Oulton Park program that the prize for the Cupra Cup is a bit vague. It says that the winner gets a paid drive in a VW Group touring car series. It doesn't specify Seat Toledo in BTCC. Can anyone shed more light on this. Does it mean Seat are planning to keep Huffy and Plato for next year and put the winner elsewhere, maybe ETCC, or VW Cup?

i doubt they truly know yet. they obviously worded it like that so they have some options. could theoretically mean the cupra winner gets put in the vw racing cup...but i feel thats unlikely!

In the Autosport SEAT supplement they do every couple of weeks it still says the prize is a SEAT BTCC drive (I think).
But if the prize is a drive in a VW group touring car then it could be a works Audi DTM seat, a SEAT STCC drive, or many other possibilities.
Let's not forget that for most of last year the SEAT Cupra Championship drivers were expecting an ETCC not BTCC campaign, so things can change!

The MSV programme for both Brands Hatch and Oulton Park has said that.
The SEAT championship brochure and pull-outs say 'SEAT UK works touring car'.
