What happened to their rumoured entry for this year? I know GA decided they didn't want to run 156's in the Touring Class as it didn't suite them, but surely if Alfa wanted to enter they'd have found another team?

As far as I am aware, GA will still be running their 146's in BTC Production as a sort of "development ground" as it were for the younger drivers to give them some good experience before stepping up to BTC Touring. That does not guarantee that they will be running Alfas in the Touring Class, in fact far from it. Last time I came across info regarding this, I believe they were looking at various other options as well.
I think we will only find out what happened to the Touring class Alfas once all the rumours have gone around the grapevine a few times. Nothing is ever set in stone until the cars line up on the grid, as motor racing is a funny old game...

I thought GA had only one Alfa left as in the ad in Autosport.

Yeh but GA had 3 156's last year and are planning on running 2 this year in production.

Are these the cars from 2000? If they have built new cars at some point then they would be able to sell one or two and still have some.
I assume they must have got some newer ones at some point or this season would be their 4th year.

Also was Pypers car owned by GA? How did the GA/TD thing work? Were TD just sponsoring and giving some input or did they have a bigger role?
