Maybe this has been covered elsewhere, but I had a quick scan through the threads and didn't find anything - if I'm repeating, just spank me and send me to the right thread! :)
Does anyone know what support races are coming to Mondello in April.
With the exception of the Formula Fords, no-one else appears to have Mondello on their calendar.
Thanks!

The renualt supports and the porche cup don't attend modello because of costs. I think the BTCC will be supported by irish championships like the Fiat Puntos. :)

Porsche are going to Mondello this year.
I'd guess it will be:
Touring Cars
Porsche
Ford
Legends
Fiat Puntos
Formula Ireland
and possibly RT2000, Heritage GT, World Sports Cars, anyone else who turns up with a helmet and wants a few laps...

LOL @ Aussie! You can spank me if you can catch me! ;)
Yes there are definitely Irish classes racing at the BTCC and the class formerly known as the RT2000s is one of them. Their new name is Dunlop Supercars by the way! I understand that the Formula Irelands will also be participating and I would be surprised if our Fiat friends were not joining us as well. No doubt the full details will be released soon.
I'm mainly interested in which classes from the UK support package are coming over. Porches are very close to the hearts of some of the guys over here and it would be very disappointing if they weren't coming. I had a look at their website and Mondello does not appear to be on their 2003 calendar - they're showing their first round as 12/13 April at Rockingham and then on the 27th April at Thruxton. tvgod is it confirmed that they're coming?
Personally I'm very fond of Legends and I'm delighted to hear they will probably be joining us again this year.

Yes.
It was announced at the Motorshow in October.
The Porsche championship which is at Rockingham on April 13th and Thruxton on April 27th is the Porsche Club Championship.
The Porsches in the TOCAtour is the Michelin Porsche Carrera Cup.
The official website doesn't appear to have a calendar on it.

Ann and I will be there, rather than fly in Saturday and leave Sunday like we did last season this year we arrive on Saturday and leave on Tuesday. Plenty of time for racing, sight seeing and a few drops of the black stuff. ;)

I think Claire has pretty much covered it there! We nearly killed ourselves with the short turn around last year getting up about 4.30 am to catch the plane out on Saturday & then I got home about 3am Monday morning & was in work for 8am - never again!

4.30 am! Sounds familiar - got up yesterday at exactly that time for Rallye Sunseeker.
Of course we know you just love those early mornings don't you Ann?!!
We will go out to Mondello only on Sunday morning but back on Tuesday, so relatively relaxed. I seem to remember the return from Knockhill last year was our turn for the "2 am home then off to work a few hours later" job.
We must be mad!!

Claire, want to try and hook up this year - missed you last year and didn't really get a chance to chat at Brands either.
I'll be the one in orange..... ;)
