"The public square or marketplace of an ancient Roman city that was the assembly place for judicial activity and public business.
A public meeting place for open discussion.
A medium of open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper or a radio or television program. "
Do the moderators believe that they operate this forum as defined above?
I understand that personal insults or comments that might be construed as libel should be edited immediately, but, if this forum is not to be totally open as defined above then I believe that the moderators or the administrator should set out a clear set of message rules as I believe that this might ease some of the frustrations of some forum users.
There is nothing wrong with stating an opinion, even if the majority disagree. That majority then have the option of stating their opinion.
