I would say 1996, becuase i cannot name 1 meeting where there was no action and crashes. Also the season looked at the beggining to be an Audi dominance season, like Alfa in 94, but it wasnt, so that made it interesting to watch.

'92 was THE classic year. Action all the way, a championship that was wide open right until the final rounds and an unpredictable finish to the season involving one of the most controversial and memorable coming togethers in BTCC history.

Andy Rouse & Will Hoy at Brands Hatch, John Cleland on cold tyres on first lap at Oulton, the penultimate round at Donington with Steve Sopers double spin at old hairpin, Sopers charges from back of grid, and of thecourse Silverstone finale!
