This is not about who you think is going to win, but who you would like to win.

Its only a bit of fun with a few days to go.

Wow, look. 100% for Reidy :D

Ordinarily, I would not choose any of them purely because none of them are Matt Neal, but if I have to choose one of them, it has to be Reidy - purely because of the lack of VX!!

Reid - underdog, I drive a Rover so MG's close enough. Would like to see Thommo go out on a high but as has been said before, it'd be nice for a non-VX to win it.

I had to be different!

I have voted for James because Jason isn't a choice and I want to see James beat Mr Muller.

Oh, Anthony!! The world is crying out for a non-Vauxhall champion.

Difficult - but Thommo for me closely followed by Mr Reid.

has to be Reid followed by Thommo, of the 3 I reckon it is going to be thommo as it is g'teed Muller will be punted off. For Reid to win he wil have to come from 10th in race 2 with full ballast. Tough going but would love it if he did

Suffice to say if it does come off I will be a very happy man

It has to be Reid for me, I'm all for the underdog. But if Reidy doesn't take the title then being the ture Yorkshireman that I am it has to be Jimmy T...

Reid

Not very likely but it does say praying!!

Indy team, would mean the #1 is on a car next season, and he deserves a win - so close in 98 and closer in 2000. The other two have been there already so let someone else have a go this year!!

Failing that then Thommo as he deserves it. I'll stop there before I say anything about the 3rd contender!

What you reckon?

Plato in Race 1
Reid in Race 2
Thommo in Race 3 if the championship is still undecided

John, fancy Reid to qualify well and go all guns blazing taking r1, Plato des usual finishes 10th in R1 starts on Pole and takes R2. Meantime Thommo and muller are playing banger racing and Muller ends up in gravel during R2 cannot do R3 title over. Thommo then starts R3 from 4th on grid and wins

this crystal ball is getting cloudy:confused:

If Muller gets punted off to stop him winning, that will sum up our
attitude to sport. I want Muller to win, but if Thommo's better
then Well Done and Good Fortune to Jimmy!

As for whinging, Reid would be champion!! But a very articulate whinge!

Jason will take some stopping in 2005.

What about the tactics though??? Does anyone reckon one of the VX's will be challenging Mr Plato for 10th in the first race?? This would give them the upper hand in race 2, and for race 3 as well.

Any thoughts??

Reid - been a fan of his since he joined the BTCC in 97, for me the 2000 champion, crappy dropped scores robbed him. I have never been a big fan of Thompson or Muller even before there Vauxhall days!

excellent article in autosport - interviews with leading drivers where they ask who will win and if they could take out either Thommo or Muller which would it be!

Plato and Huff's responses make particularly good reading!
