DTM vs BTCC

It is a pity that the BTCC couldn't get as much recognation world wide as the DTM. When i watch f1 Martin Brundle praises the DTM non-stop but never once mentions the BTCC.

Is there anything that can be done to improve this?

Would it mean dropping smaller races and taking the BTCC to foreign countries. The DTM were only in Germany 4 times this year. Would it mean just picking the big 3 (Silverstone, Brands Hatch, and Donington) and then go to ireland, germany, portugal etc.

The size/popularity (or otherwise) of the DTM has absolutely no relevance to the BTCC so I fail to understand your point, to be honest.

I have no intention of taking the BTCC to any other foreign countries, and thus robbing the British public of the opportunity to see their own championship.
