I dont see why people rate webber so much. The highest place he ever got his jag was 6th last year + that was when the Jag was the most competive. Irive + De La Rosa manage to get the odd podium, 4th + 5th places
He only seems to have the pace on qualfying but not in the race. He started second in brazil last year no result, second at sepand this year no result and at suzaka 3rd with no result
At least when trulli was in the jordan in 2000 + 2001 when he used to qualfy really high he usually got the car in the top 6 somewhere

an interesting point,
Klien is a promising rookie who's pace is now similar to webber's, and we all know how bad pizzonia was when he was a jag driver but Webber has produced moments of magic(qualifying 2nd at malaysia).
He hasn't had a decent, experienced teammate to compare himself too but now he's joining williams this is his test.
I think he is slightly overrated but from next year is when he has to show pace. one of his weaknesses seems to be crumbling under pressure

Best result is still his debut race - which was in a Minardi..... but how much does that say about Webber and how much about Jag in 2003/04??
We will see next year - depending who his team mate is of course.

Eddie Irvine did a fantastic job in an un-competitive jag.
He was the only one who could give schmacher a "run for his money."
Luk at 99 were he was permitted to race from about half way through the season. He would have won the championship if schmacher hadn't come back and mucked everything up!

The Jag is a POS basically. Webber gets it into qualifying slots that it really shouldn't be in. However, the LC software is about as effective as a perished rubber band and the can has no race pace. It eats tyres and looks like a devil to drive.
I rate Webber and think he needs a seat like the Williams to shine. Frank isn't known for picking duds. Well, apart from Ralf that is and with him it was just attitude because he had the speed.

At least Webber has proved on more than one occassion He can overtake. Something lots of other drivers are too frightened to try. Not sure on his wanting DC as a team mate, He should have a competitive team mate, not someone who had the edge for a few races after facing death after that unfortunate helicopter crash, but has now returned to his previous form if not worse.

The thing with Webber is that he's not done a great deal since qualifying 2nd at Malaysia, 7 months ago. Yet everyone keeps talking about him as if he is the saviour of F1. Let's wait and see first, after all, Justin Wilson did arguably more in a Minardi and had no chance at all in the-other-one-in-a-one-car-team Jag. Be odd if Williams do give Pizzonia the second seat, though, recreating the 2003 Jaguar driving force - hardly one of the all-time great line-ups, was it?

The latest twist is that Williams are apparently considering Mika Hakkinen!
