I may have missed this elsewhere but is there going to be a standardisation of regulations between WTCC and BTCC?

This year worked pretty well with the introduction of ETCC spec cars but would it not be beneficial to look at changing completely to WTC regs over the next two seasons?

Our technical regulations are in place until the end of 2006. Until then, both types of cars will compete on an equal basis.

We have not yet decided which way our technical regulations will go from 2007+.

We could very well go S2000 (i.e. WTCC) regulations from 2007, but that decision will be made in the next 12 months and will largely depend on the growth of the WTCC and the amount of manufacturers that wish to compete under those regulations.
