Hi Alan,

Firstly, congratulations on the rule changes you've made for next year. I'm sure they will all add to a very good championship.

My question is regarding the ballast (although I'm still not a fan of it but understand it's use) and if you'll adopt positioning the weight the ballasted drivers are carrying on the windscreens as they do in the ETCC?

I feel it will help clear up for the general public why drivers are performing as they do in certain races, whilst also giving the opportunity for recognising drivers doing well despite their handicap. It has just seemed unclear up to now who has been carrying what when spectating...

About 3 years ago we did have the weight on the windscreens, so it's not a new idea to us.

However it was discussed at the recent teams meeting and was generally agreed that they didn't want to do it.

When you are a team working your socks-off during race-day trying to prepare/repair 2 cars for an incredibly intensive 3 race program, changing your windscreen signage 6 times for those two cars is another job they could do without....which is understandable.
