Motors TV. Where has it gone?!

We've just changed our Sky viewing card and since the new one was put in, Motors TV has completely disappeared! :(

Phoned a member of family to ask them if they changed their card. They did and the channel has gone too!

Anyone else suffered this problem?

Yup. Looks like Sky are no longer showing motors TV. Im gonna ring them up. I reset the box and it re-appeared and then disapeared again. Its happening everywhere. Useless! If Sky aint showing it whats the point of the coverage!

I think it may appear eventually. There are other channels missing as well. I remember from when we first got Sky in 1999, that it took a day or so for all the channels to appear.

That's what i am hoping is the case anyway.

i changed my viewing card today and motors tv is still there.

Still not here. But i've been online since 10 mins after we changed the card, so any signal won't get down the phoneline while i'm online. I'll wait and see if it is there in the morning.

Is it possible to acquire MotorsTV somehow with NTL - would I have to purchase all three Sky sports channels ?

Unfortunatly it is only available on Sky Digital in the UK.

Heres a fact for you, because of the wider choice of services and chanels, Sky Digital has over double the amount of veiwers than those of all the other cable/digital services in the UK put together.

Please explain to me what the card system is ???

We have a monthly cost that is direct debited for our Optus cable.

And I want rub it in but I have 5 sportz channels. :p :rolleyes: :D

The Sky box has two card slots in the front, one for the viewing card and one for the interactive card.

Every couple of years they send out a new viewing card to every user - it's an anti-fraud measure.

But only five sport channels?
There are 17 of them on Sky at the moment.

over 900 channels on sky digital mate (not all sports of course) ;) :p :D
