Mike Doble

Barwell
Alan Blencowe
?

Team GVR
Chris Eggington
?

SRE Motorsport
Johnathan Young

Churchill Motorsport
Adrian Churchhill
Ian Churchill

Johnsons Motorsport
Matt Johnson
Robert Ross

...and I gather Danny Buxton and Fiona Leggate are actively looking for drives if not testing already.

and a bright pink one eh Parabolic.
I think Dave P will be better suited to Seats than the Porsche.

Ihave just read that Tom Ferrier may well be contesting the championship - letÃ*s hope his driving is of a better standard than that displayed at Brands last year in Carrera Cup!!!

Now he said at Autosport that he was interested in it along with about 10 other series ;).

That move at Druids last year was dire :(

Press release on the SCC site has another entry: Harry Vaulkhard, run by JS Motorsport (a different JSM to the team who ran those 147s in 2001 BTCC I thinK!)

Les,

I spoke to Tom after that incident and he was actually sqeezed on to the grass and could not stop in time and it shows that on the tv coverage too.

Also the Jump start he was penilised for I put the re-run on slow motion and he didnt move so the stewards obviously dont like him

yes I had heard that as well. The Cupras seem to have taken the best of old championship plus a load of ex Porsche boys. It's going to be a heck of a championship.

Saw the incident live on Motors TV, don't really see how Tom could be blamed. I'm pleased he's got a seat in the SEATs, a good opportunity for him to demonstrate just how good he is. Thank god he's not in the shambless of the Brilliance WTCC effort, as he was previously linked to.

The Cupras seem to have taken the best of old championship.

The only front runner from last year that I know of doing it again this year is Tom Boardman. So where are the rest?

Mr Blencowe, he very quick and very talented

Yes, I'm sure he is, but he wasn't from last years championship. :)

Each to their own! :p

It's unusual that he's the only one coming back at the moment. Does anybody know if the others from last year are moving on?

another blast from the past signing up - Mat Jackson - drove a Ford Focus and team mate to Gareth Howell in the production class.

Is it my imagination or this championship is looking better than touring cars?

well the testing ban comes in to force tomorrow night so not surprisingly there were a few seats out at Snetterton. We had Tom Boardman & Ferrier, Mark Cole, Chris Eggington (nice to meet you) & Dave Pinkney.

Only one was liveried - Chris in grey with orange and yellow Team GVR logos - the rest were the Seat grey with various bits of coloured tape.... :p

All ran well and all loved the cars.
