I have broadband, but the BTCC hompage seems to take an age to load. Is there anything that can be done to speed it up a bit? Cheers.

Hi Bramble. This not a problem that we have had any other feedback about and we have tested the site extensively with various browsers at different speeds. It may be that your broadband connection is very heavily used. The technology used to deliver xDSL services relies on some degree of sharing of the resources. That said, we will look into this on Monday when back in the office. :)

We do our very best to keep the website loading times to a minimum.

As Assassin (http://www.btcc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2131) rightly stated, the graphics for the ITV banner are loaded from an external source and this may be affecting the page loading times. Unfortuneatly we have done all that we can to minimise this problem.

I would suggest installing and running some Anti-Spyware software on your computer such as Microsoft Windows Anti-Spyware (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en) as Spyware has been known to affect how your web browser operates.
