Silverstone National

I remember that when I suggested that the championship should race on the Silverstone National circuit instead of the International circuit, that you said the International was much better for the drivers and the viewers. Yet you then made the next years (at that time) meeting on the National. I'm not sure whether this was to do with Silverstone or a decision of your own, but if it was a decision of your own to switch layout, what was it that changed your mind? Was it possibly me ;) . Will be nice to hear what you have to say!

It was my decision, purely to provide some variety.

I think you may be mistaken, though.....I doubt, very much, if I said that the International circuit was better for spectators than the National circuit because I have never held that view.

Better for the drivers, yes, but not for the viewers.
