Do you think that the idea of cutting out dingle dell and making is strait is a good idea? i thaught that was a good corner and is was good to watch the cars go through it.
Also the spectating area at paddock is being moved back 3 meters. why?

Well, I see nothing wrong with it, just as long as they can still jump it.
Isn't it obvious why the spectatorsare 3 metres back? The cars have more time to slow down.
All in all I give it the thumbs up.

I'd not imagine you'd see anyone 'jumping it' if it's now a straight...

It's not.

Well, technically, you're right in that Dingle Dell Corner is in fact a slight right hander now but Dingle Dell Chicane has most definately been turned into a straight.

Spectators are being moved back three or four metres at Paddock Hill Bend to allow the sand trap there to be tarmac'd
Isn't this to accomodate the Cart series later in the season ?

I think the changes at padock are because of cart yes mate. The did think about putting bigger fencing up aswell.

They've done more than think about it - they've done it.

 That fencing was already over the expectations of the FIA and other governing bodies!!!

Well, if the new right hander is still on a crest and has big kerbs i reckon there might be a jump. But WHY did the cut the chicane? It was the second best corner on the circuit. (First being Paddock)

Puzzled as well - the integrity of Paddock as an exciting corner, (to say the least), has been preserved, only mildly annoying to have to stand even further back. What's with Dingle Dell ? Isn't this the third configuration. Don't remember the original, isn't it a bit of a close your eyes, banzai sort of corner now ?

Think the circuit was compelled to because of the Superbikes

the superbikes is by far their biggest event, but its only one event a year and how many car racing events are there at brands a year?
they have ruined that part of the track

Right, I've seen the graphic and what I see is that Dingle Dell chicane is now just a right hander. What's the problem?
