Is anyone else planning to go to the rally in Bournemouth on Saturday?

This will be our first visit and I am looking forward to it.

I was reading about it earlier in the week & wondering but am going to be otherwise occupied now.

Will definitely be going to the BRC Tempest Stages this though (and yes I know I keep saying that!) Its only just up the road after all although I have got a long time to wait!

Ann ~ shame you won't be there.

I hope the weather is like today! I must be mad I will have to get up at 4.30 tomorrow morning so I will be ready to leave at 5.30. We are meeting another mad friend at 7am!!!!

The rally was great fun, it is a shame you missed it Ann. The weather was great which helped a lot, it was brilliant following the cars from one stage to the next.

The car I was supporting finished eleventh out of 150 which was brilliant considering he rolled the car and was up against some much newer cars.

Already making plans to go back next year!

Kelvin ~ Sorry didn't get a photo of the MG. We were following the top 20 from stage to stage and didn't even see it! We did see the MG team in the service area though so knew it was there somewhere.

I've got a photo of an MG Rally car, Kelvin. It has me in the passenger seat too!! :D (Brooklands last weekend)

Kelvin - I think we saw about half of the cars altogether yesterday, but not the MG unfortunately (not even in the service area). I don't know how many classes there but we probably left the stages before the MG got there.

Louise Goodman and VBH were there too and we didn't see them either!! We did see the MG support car (a ZT tourer) - does that count?

We will try harder next time!!!

The wrong way obviously!!!! I was more interested in the car I was supporting ~ Steve Hendy in the Escort.

Hehehehe - I was keeping an eye on Ceefax on Saturday and that's who I THOUGHT you'd be supporting, Amanda! :)

Am I psychic or what? Or do I just know you too well...
