Did any of you go to the Sunseeker over the weekend, I dont suppose you noticed the Alfa that was in the touring class in 2001 did you, You might already know about this as i dont come on this forum often. You can see a few pictures of this car on

I knew it was now a rally car, but I'd have loved to have seen it in action. I guess pics are the next best thing. Thanks!

Saw it in MNews last week but those pics are much better!!
Question though - for those of you who didnt see the pics cos I assume the link will be deleted the reg number on it is KN52XNO.
As the car was built at the start of 2001 how is allowed to be a 52 reg? Presumably it relates to the year it was first registered, but does that mean if you converted a 1980s RS500 to become road legal and registered that it would be a 52 reg as well? I would have assumed it would be Q registered in both cases or the year of manufacture. Sorry thats slightly off topic but just curious.
