I was also at Thruxton today, and despite being awful at taking photos, I also got some good ones! Unfortuntly though, I don't have a scanner.

I have to say how wonderful Thruxton were, for trusting the spectators not to do anything stupid, and gave us full access to everywhere - you don't get that at Silverstone!

I also need to say a big thanks to the drivers and teams - all were wonderfully hospitable and willing to talk for hours!

Does anyone know the times? From what I saw from Club chicane and the complex, I would say that Anthony Reid was fastest. He seemed to be the only person REALLY pushing, and was quite spectacular through Club! Morrison and Chilton were also driving right on the limit, and Pyper was awesome through the complex in the Astra!

If today was anything to go by, I think we're in for a stunning season

Just seen the pics via another forum and they're great Springbok!! Dont the cars look strange when not running full liveries though (apart from the Honda).

Anyone notice the cutaway on the MGs bumper? Not unlike Hondas bumper. I wonder what advantage that gives? Extra cooling?

You can see the two exhausts on the MG as well - so do we take it from this that Vauxhall and Honda gave their consent?

Wouldn't really offer that opinion so early MG-ZS, unless you particularly wanted to look a bit of a numpty!!!

It was moderated because I posted a link to where I had hosted the pics, this is not allowed on this forum (slap wrists).
So in future keep an eye out on the non-official forums for pics, I'll be at the test in April at Thruxton and obviously the race in May,

yeah! good point, but u gotta admit, now MG have twin exhausts thus giving more power and torque they should be the force to beat, slong as theyre are more than 2 MG's in the field, i still cant believe theyve allowed them 2 exhausts! great!

I had see the pics both where u had orinally posted them, and then on the MG forum. I still get rattled by the censorship of useful & interesting links on this forum. The internet is an interactive medium.....

One problem with MG, if they win the title wont the off season be all pessimists saying they cheated like everyone insists Ford, Alfa Romeo, Audi done.......

Anyway hope the MG's do well this year and Proton looked very good and ready for the season already, they have been doing the most testing.....

So all in all Honda, MG, Proton and Vauxhall look good for the title...hang on......thats all the works teams!! Who said 2003 wasn't going to be good cos of the lack of cars so far!

O and also nice to see Chilton going so well....
