I'm a bit out of date with regard to what's happening in the support series. Anybody got any recent news to share about any of them?

Not quite sure when but I believe we also have Legends and Historic Touring Cars at some rounds.
According to my BARC events list the above seem to alternate. The little book also indicates we get F3 at Donington and both of the above.

Last year we had some local championships providing support at Mondello so I guess the same will probably happen this year.

I see in the motorsport news that there will be a "Will Hoy" trophy awarded to the winner (or highest placed eligible competitor) of one of the karting championships (stars of tomorrow or something?) and the prize is a drive in the 2004 clio championship. I think it's a great idea as it's a nice tribute, especially when you look at the names who are behind it.

Woy Hoy? Thats a great prize, a very fitting tribute and a great opportunity for the winner.

Sorry, my very poor typing's getting the better of me again. :(
I've edited it now so it should (hopefully) make more sense..

There are I believe Puntos, Formula Ireland and RT2000 races at Mondello.
Punto racing? Now that could be interesting!

Porsches were testing at Snetterton today but no timings available - that's not fair....

Yes there are, they're available from MST now, although I think MST have only just added this one to their testing list for the year.
For those that don't know, MST provide timing from all official TOCA Tour tests, the site address is listed on the TOCA links page, under the heading "BTCC official suppliers".
