theres the thing in motorsport news saying that MG are running 2 cars and one more possibly if theres money, but i question the reliabilty of that, sayin the manager of MG sport and racing told them bout it, but if theyre having a 'launch' on March 10th why would he tell motorsport news a week earlier!? and tis is taken from Gareth Howells website:
Gareth Hopeful of MG Return in 2003
Gareth has confirmed that he is hoping to secure support to take the wheel of the MG ZS once more this season....
interesting, i hope there will be more than 2 MG's this year, but im remaining confident.

Read elswhere that it is RUMOURED (not confirmed) that they may have lost HotWheels sponsorship - which might explain the lack of a third car. Which is a shame if that turns out to be true

i hope they havent lost hot wheels as a sponsor, i thought it was a 2 year deal, and why would the trucks still have the Hot Wheels logos and flames on?

yes, interesting, but if hotwheels have finished i would think another company would sponsor them, i just hope everything work out for the best at MG

It maybe Scalextrix? - educated guess rather than informed!!
They put their name on MG rally cars, and they have just launched a Le Mans racing set, featuring MGs on the box!!
Touring cars wont look the same without the flames :-(

it says on another website that MG have CONFIRMED a 2 car team for reid and hughes, with the possibility of a 3rd car later in the season, thats from rob oldaker.
i'm surprised MG are only running 2 cars seeing as their main rivals vauxhall and honda are running 3 cars each.

Some think there are advantages to a two car team other than just cost - you can concerntrate on reliability and development of the two your running - in WRC Subaru only have 2 now, as do Hyundai whereas Ford, Pug, Citroen etc have 3.
Personally I think a 3 car team is better (if you look at Turkey Subaru had a problem with their two cars which meant one DNF and one 8th, Pug had problems with 2 cars but their other finished in P2)
Swings and roundabouths though like most decisions.

But John unlike the WRC, three cars are eligable for maunfacture points instead of just two

Can Indy teams still score manufacturer points? (Not that there are any Indy MGs yet) because maybe that means they know something we dont!! (Ever the optomist eh?!?)
