Is anyone else having a problem of posting a thread or a reply to a thread and then it not being there next time they log on?

Im not putting anything bad in my posts, so assume there not being removed for being inapropriate. I know alot went missing when the website went down for maintainance, but I posted something yesterday and when I looked again today my post is missing and another has been added.

Anyone having the same problem? Or know why?

My takes ages now when you post but it never used to and it does'nt on the cliosport forum so it cant be my computer.
I guess theres a technical itch with the forum.

It's called power crazed moderators. :p

Well i've had a thread dissapear and I PMed a Mod asking where it had gone, and i'm still waiting for a reply. Not surprised that much to be honest.

Guys, and girls. We do not delete threads or posts without reason and personally (and I am sure all the other mods do the same) I will almost invariably pm the person involved and tell them why. There is the odd exception but that is usually a post and there will be a reason underneath.

While the odd post and even new thread may have disappeared when the forum was down recently, they do not otherwise just vanish - to my knowledge!

If there are any technical problems I am not aware of them. Seems to work fine for me!:)

Any specific "disappearances" though please let me know by pm and we will see if there is a pattern.

Which Mod did you pm Claw - what was the subject of the thread? We rarely remove threads - usually lock them.

I haven't seen any of your posts disappear Croft Fan - I've never had reason to delete any of yours ever as far as I recall!

I PMed Moderator 1. It was about a thread I posted about a Tocaforums BatRacer league, and when the forum came back it had gone. Shame cos i've started the league now with other players. Could have been fun. :)

I've just checked the list of deleted threads and it isn't there! Not in the last six months or so anyway.

Having said that - given the subject it would have been removed anyway!

I know posts dont just diasappear but Ive posted afew mainly in General Motorsport section in the past week and a half, one was in 'most boring gp ever' which when i clicked submit reply showed me it on the forum, but then when I went to read the page again afew days later it wasnt there.

Ive had afew like that, but its hit and miss, the last few I have posted have been okay, if I have anymore problems I will let u know.

Yeah, but why!?
It would have been great, you can't have any fun on this forum.
