Well I have gone for James Kaye simply because of his podium in race 1

My obvious choice would be Plato but he's my second even though he did drive really well in the second race catching them back up again from the back but I voted Mike Jordan because he drove really well especially when he was all over Neal like a rash, and he got a 6th in race 1 and 7th in race 3 which I dont think is bad for him.

Has to be Shedden - although Giovanardi did well too.

Has to be Turkington for me!!
Press Release --- Once again the 2006 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship provided action aplenty for a bumper Cheshire crowd. An Independent's Trophy win for Rob Collard and a Dunlop Charger Award* and a new lap record for Colin Turkington proves that Team RAC MGs are a force to be reckoned with. Both drivers still remain in contention for the championship with Colin Turkington and Rob Collard placed 4th and 10th respectively.
* Dunlop Charger Award is awarded to the driver who gains the highest number of places during a single race.

Anyone who can man handle a racing car without power steering wins it for me. He was brilliant and might have won the last race if it wasn`t for team orders ( and that pains me being an avid supporter of you know who). Giovannardi was excellent too in the second although naff in the others.

Watch again...and listen to what JP said afterwards. After he had passed Chilton at the bottom of Cascades, he held him up under braking at the hairpin so that Thompson could pass on the outside, a move that Thompson couldn't have made without JP's help. therefore all Thommo was doing was giving him the place back and, in the circumstances, the right and proper thing to do.
PS. Team orders have been outlawed I believe, so there is no team orders. (quote: originally posted by 'the king')
Brilliant move by JP, not only passing Chilton, but making sure Thommo got thru as well, great team work by two true professionals ! Chilton was certainly hung out to dry.

I voted for James Kaye, I know MN was carrying max ballast, but its still some feat holding him off for the majority of the race!

He only got the lap record because he had new shoes put on and had clean air all around him, hardly a great feat?
Fair play on the charger award though!
