The point I was making about news is that this is the official BTCC website who's address is plasted all over the cars, quoted in newspaper previews etc. But if I were a casual follower logging on to find out whats happening I wouldn't be able to work anything out from the site itself. The entry list posted is last years, there is no information regarding the fact that MG have confirmed entry (admittedly theres stuff from Vauxhall and Honda, but nothing about Honda's 3 car team with Matt as the info is from November). TAK are no longer in it (which having last year's entry list implies they are), Barwell have stepped down to production, Synchro and Collard Racing have stepped up to Touring. Knockhill has been replaced by Rockingham (admittedly there is a 2003 calander but it is not clear as to why Knockhill is not there - and the contact number for the circuit is still there which might confuse people further).
I'm not suggesting that every bit of news is put in the news section but surely relevant important things like who is actually in the championship, things about official tests etc. would be of use and of interest.

that the TOCATOUR website is a commercial site - therefore should the forum members be getting paid for providing up to date news and opinions? It seems that without the information in the forum section the site has nothing much to offer in terms of information for the coming season.
Hope these comments are not taken the wrong way, I just believe that the BTCC ought to be promoted and attracting more fans, and part of this it seems to me is providing new fans with the information and resources they require to understand the championship and who is in it.
