Is it a current BTCC driver, or have anything to do with the BTCC?

Just trying to figure out who it is.

And the year!

Damn! You beat me to it!
I found it was Jim Edwards Jr and KNEW it was Thruxton
And the car was a given, but it was when that I didn't know!

Oh well, at least I'm not as sad as Reynard then! :D

<sigh> OK, I AM as sad as Reynard, maybe even a little bit worse!

July, 4th if you want specifics!

Am I right?

Reynard

Meeting date - Sunday July 4th? :)

I am totally certifiable and I take full responsability for the havoc that I am wreaking in here :D

Reynard

Which sort - you mean MGF's???

I know Warren Hughes drove in MGF cup at one point, and I've got this hunch that Patrick Watts did as well...

All of this quiz stuffs far too hard for my tiny brain. I can usually have a good stab at circuits and cars but I never have a clue about drivers.

Next time don't change the jpeg filename and I might be in with a chance!:D

ok... sorrry slighty misleading,
He won MGOC racing championship, before MGFs.
In the 1980's!

Your right with Warren , + another BTCC driver drove MGFs too,
he has a Liverpool accent!!

Oh, that'd be our resident scouser, Paul O'Neil then :)

Warren Hughes was MGF Cup champion in 1999.
Paul O'Neill raced in the series in 2000 and was team-mate to runner-up Alastair Lyall with (I think) Techspeed

Annie Templeton also drove in the series, for at least two years (1999 and 2000)

Anyone else?

As for other MG's, I don't know.

ok still looking for the 'FORMER' BTCC driver, who in the 1980's drove I think an MG Midget to win the MGOC racing championship.
If i gave the year 'Google' might give up the answer!!

You need to read some race driver profiles!!

Could it be Graham Davis?????

Kelvin
7th Mar 2003, 06:58 PM
Not Graham Davis, I think he came out in a Rover of some description 'once' at Brands Hatch? Graham was never an MGOC champion!

Steve Mach

Kelvin

No...
Darryl has never been in the BTCC, (but was MG Champ)

Ex- MG racer that made it good, albeit a bit briefly was
Robb Gravett - and jeez were those ex-Dick Johnson Sierras quick! Anything that could see off Andy Rouse had to be!

Kelvin
