I was having a look through the new Autosport last night and noticed an article with pictures showing that Chevrolet were entering the BTCC next season with 2 Bio Ethanol Lacetti's.

I hear Dan Eaves is driving one of the cars, and it will be fantastic for the BTCC to have 2 more cars. Slight question mark over the competitiveness of the cars though. In the WTCC the Seats are much quicker and they are not exactly dominating the BTCC. Having said that, next season it will be all the S2000 spec cars, so Chevrolet could have a chance at podiums, perhaps even a win or two.

but yet again its a privateer company running them, not a works team, we need the works teams to adopt the Bio-Ethanol fuel.

Found this link for potential 2007 teams/drivers/cars, not sure how much truth in it, but very interesting.

Think it's a bit of a wind up. a 50 car grid woyuld be good but slightly unrealistic. Matt "Jesus" Neal driving a tank! and Eirkut in a VXR Corsa? LMAO

Its a speculative list. The Corsa is someone pissing about. Removed now.

Don't think it is a particularly good speculative list. It looks like someone has simply added on all the teams who looked at entering the championship this year but never did (like HTML, Emotional and Embassy).

True "Corsa" as if??? What a dog of a car,
At the end of each season we always have this Spectulative list of whos may be on the grid at the start of the next season but half the time its all bull, up entill about a week before the season itself starts!!

Still laughing at that list!!!
It looks like someone just went through a yellow pages of all the racing teams and drivers that have ever been linked with BTCC in the past 3 years, put 2 and 2 together to come up with an answer of 50+ entries!!!
Surprised not to see Harvey in diesel powered Peugeot on there....
