Well i know its a long way off and theres alot of racing to go, but what does think for next year in respect to cars driver line ups etc?? hopefully one of the bigger teams adopting Bio-Ethanol fuel as well. Cant wait to find out what vauxhall and the other bigger teams will use next year

Its too early to comment on next yet IMO, we've still got just under half a season left yet.

What difference does it make if it is a family run team?
(Just curious why it makes a difference, not being funny)

I mean really, that it would be nice for more manufactureres to enter the btcc, i dont know about you, but its really bad when you see only 2 names under the Manufacturers Championship!

I agree two manufacturers doesnt look good. As long as it doesnt end up like the DTM we will still have the best touring car championship right here in Britain.

despite the name i dont have a peugeot. just a name i guess.

Hope WSR (Team RAC) still run the MG ZS, also hope they can get a third car out on track

They won't. The Integra (or the Accord) is better for Super 2000 rules.

i would have to be the Accord wouldnt it? as its all ready proven in the WTCC (Ryan Sharp) and the cars must have 4 doors, no coupe aloud other then the civic.

True its a bit of a joke when you look at it like that IMO compared to how many used to be in it.

I didnt think they were allowed to use the Integra. I thought it had to be onsale in the UK for it to be elligable next season?

As the Integra was an existing model I had presumed it was exempt from that rule, I may be wrong however.

If they want to maintain a traditional British feel, as with the MGs, how about an X-type Jag? I reckon that would be one of the best looking cars out there too. :D

Why would team RAC not be able to use the MG, surely if it was made to s2000 rules then it woul be allowed in, as it has four doors.

Id ask the question why would they want to?, its an ageing car that isnt in production anymore.

I saw a couple of S-types race in some Italian series on MotorsTV not so long ago, "super touring" or something like that. Very well turned out, but no idea if they fit the bill or not.
