These threads really are getting irrelevant and pointless. But i am also fed up with the slaging matches, its is ok to have different opinions but don't insult other people becuase of that opinion. This is happening way too often.

well, its more intresting then formula 1 interviews. same old quotes, blah blah blah. btcc drivers moaning spices it up( maybe alan gow should have a big brother diary room in the pit lane ):)

Yep we all have our own view and thats cool IMO, I think theres been enough said about Neal's actions this season and we should now focus on how the rest of the season pans out

It is silly, everyone has their own thoughts and opinions!
Its like anything though! I could go on a football forum and say 'Fulham FC Rock!!' And i'm 99.9% sure someone will say 'no they dont!'

I agree with you all, but that's how some people are.
Some people don't know any other ways to voice their opinons other than 'no they dont' etc
But yeh..it is annoying..but I'm usually a part of it *rolls eyes* lol

Hooray!
Yes I'm fed up with the slanging matches too.
Flash (obviously TD supporter) and I (WSR supporter) managed to have a really good discussion about Neal and Collard at Donny without it degenerating into a slanging match.
Lets just remember that it's all about enjoying the racing, and while we may sometimes have complaints about a driver that we don't support, slanging matches on the forum and slagging off other forum members are pretty pointless.

Hoorah!!!!! We all seem to agree on something!!!! See, miracles do happen!!!!
At the end of the day we are all passionate about the sport as a whole and about individual drivers, and as long as we are all passionate about it, the sport will remain bouyant, which is what we all want.
Debates and differences of opinion are healthy and are always going to happen where people are passionate, but what we all have to do is keep our manners in check.
Express your opinions, defand your man or woman of choice, but lets keep it civilized and agree that the most important thing is that we all love the same sport!!!

YAY!!! I am indeed a die hard Matt fan, but I do recognise when he does something silly...like a few years ago at Brands when he took off Paul O'Neil at the final corner depriving Danger Scouse of his first win in a big boys car. That was bad and naughty.
I did offer to smack his behind but sadly didn't get the chance!!!!! hee hee!!

I am the sole voter for 'confused by the whole issue. I am not bothered either way. We should have two threads for each topid, the flaming thread, and the non-flaming thread, then depending on what mood you are in, you can get involved in the most appropriate thread
