Gotta say mate - have been watchig V8's and V8 Brutes from Oz during the off season on a channel called Motors TV (the ones that are screening Brands Hatch live in May).
Such brilliant racing - and the commentators are fantastic. My mate doughboy and I have decided that the guys that commentate on V8Brutes are exactly how we would be - ill-informed, half-cut and mega enthustiastic.
"WHOAAA ! Look at Raj! He's right up his backside!"
and the like....
Must be nice to watch racing in decent weather too....

Yeah, I love the V8s aswell.
It's better than the F1 with bodyshells and the ETCC.

Back again guys I've been at work (12hrs shift). The V8's are great and they sound just like they go. The weather well we could do with some rain. Just as I'm writing this Fox sport is showing Round 9 from Mondello Park so I'm watching and typing at the same time.

Australian V8 Supercars is probably the best touring car series there is. It a shame that it doesn't get better TV times in out country, 3 am is the usual, and I'm useless at setting videos so I don't get to see as much of it as I'd like. Is it shown on Motors TV?

We get it live to air on Channel 10 (Commercial stn) or two days later on Fox sport (cable) but there's nothing like being there.

I have been to all of the street events from Canberra (canned last year) Adelaide (going again this year) and Indy. The Indy race was great but not like Adelaide the atmosphere was breath taking. Then there is Bathurst I have not missed a race up there in 15yrs (camp on the hill) doing both classes the 2ltrs as well as the V8's. My nephew and I camped up at the mountain last year for the 24hr and we planned to do it again this year.

What about our Shorty in the Mosler then? Top drive considering none of them had been to Bathurst before. Very bad luck for the Brabham team though.

Lowndes is a great bloke and an alrright driver but my favourite is Cameron McConville from the Lansvale Smash Repair Team. This is the only based team in Sydney.
Well what can I say about the 24hr but you came and didn't conquer but what an effect. That Mosler has b**ls and the growl from its heart...... The was something the brakes glowing red and drivers , driving blind in the low cloud.
BRING ON 2003.
