Hello and happy new year to everyone.
I agree, Les. This new forum looks and feels sensational and it is a lot easier to use. I particularly like the new General Motorsports and Support Race sections.
Roll on Mondello!

Hello, unfortunatly for you lot I'm back again, but in disguise! I used to be Eaves for number 1, but my favourite driver changed to Carl during last year. Dan's at number two though!

I know, but I still hope. I felt sorry for him, because I know he got critisized last year, but thatwas for un-fair reasons. Everybody forgot that by the time he joined the series, all test days were over, so he had to learn all about the car, team, series etc at the race meetings, so it took him until about Snetterton to be at the stage all the others were at by round one at Brands Hatch. And at Snetterton, he dragged the now ancient 406 coupe home in 6th, then followed that up by a great qualifying performance at Brands which nobody noticed, and an all round great weekend at Donington, where he won the class in the feature race. And then people started saying he only won that because the other indies went out, but only Gareth Howell was ahead of him.
I think that given a fair chance - i.e. a whole season including pre-season testing, he could really spring a surprise. But nobody notices

he might be able to get a seat in the production championship.
i was at snetterton when he came 6th, he was battling with chilton for much of the race for the class win.

A bit like that - I guess this is more like having an affair without actually having any relationship!
