Cars in 2007

Alan,
I understand that only S2000 cars will be eligible for outright BTCC honours next season. However, what would the situation be if a team/driver switched from a BTC-spec car to a S2000-spec one (or vice versa) mid-season?

Well, if he swapped mid-season then he wouldn't really be in contention for the title.....so it would really make no difference, because the points he accrued whilst using a non-S2000 car would not be taken into consideration for the outright title.
