Some interesting ones there - stunt man for example!! Also not as many "Racing Drivers" as you might have expected and the most noteable exceptions to me were Matt Neal (Purchasing Manager), John Cleland (Volvo Dealer), David Leslie (Car Hire Manager), Will Hoy (Surveyor) and a few others! Lots of car dealership links as well.

What would todays equivalent read?!

I'm surprised at the amount of them that live off racing, without having a secondary job! Must make enough money through racing!
Knew about Val Musetti being a stuntman, and who the hell is, Angus McKay and Greame Davis!?

Can anyone produce a list for the current crop of drivers? Or at least for last year as we are still somewhat in the dark re 03!

John Cleland - Volvo Dealer

Over a year ago he started selling Jaguars AND recently he had the Bond car in. Didn't see it but a few of my pals know his son, Jamie, so I wouldn't doubt their word.

It looks like he has some house as well. In the Melrose book (it's things like this that keep the Borders economy up  ) there's a page dedicated to him, headlined Motor Racing Champion with a picture of him in front of his house picture with a Vectra Challenge car and three BTCC trophys: "one awarded for winning an epic touring car race at Donington beating Formula 1 champ Nigel Mansell" and the house is looking very grand.

I think being a driver throught the Super Touring days makes the drivers rich enough but I'm sure a trade would help.

Remember - I'm sure Steve Soper has a BMW dealership. He was selling a McLaren F1 GT1 in Autosport AGES ago.

Paul does have a job but no longer with Ikea
Alan Blencowe is a scaffolder/instructor at Thruxton
Dan Eaves works part time at VLR
Gavin Pyper instructs at Goodwood
Phil Bennet instucts at Silverstone/?Rockingham.
Colin Turkington was at uni, not sure if has finished his degree yet.

Not sure about any of the others, I would guess that most of the production drivers would need some sort of income, would be interesting to know what they get up to.
