You're missing something out, the BTCC season reviews on Video or DVD :eek: Surely you must have picures of them. I have a collection of them and other BTCC items that i will post later on

Thats amazing, how did you get all the car parts, like bumpers and bonnets, ive always wanted a piece of bodywork to have on my wall, but never get one.

All i tend to do is walk around the back of the paddock and garages after the final races as the teams are packing away. Any unwanted bodywork is left outside the garage or sticking out of the bins. That's how i got Chris Stockton's bumper from Snetterton - plus he asked me if i wanted it signed. I'll attact a picture when i get it off my phone :)

How do you get to the back of the garages, as most tracks dont let you. At rockingham next year i will do some serious scavaging!!

Paddock access is always available, sometimes you have to pay for it tho.

Mind you, whilst I was walking round the Paddock at Knockhill, I was wearing my VIP badge round my neck but a lot of others didn't have those badges so i guess anyone can walk round the paddock - I don't know...maybe ask someone like chris hodgetts as he'll know for definite!

It was a road safety exhibition, apparently it was from a genuine road accident. They had some quite gruesome photos on that stand too...:eek:

Yeah:rolleyes: , Toca and Toca 2 are two of the best Racing Simulationes ever!
Love the good old Btcc with the oldschool stars. Hope there will be a new "Toca" sometime, because i don`t like the new Codemasters style with Toca Race Driver 2 and 3!

Here's some photos from the first EERC Britcar meeting of the season. I thought they were relevant as Richard Marsh's old 307 BTCC car was racing in the Britcar race. (It amazingly led for a while in the snow before retiring!) Also Mike Jordan was racing a Eurotech Porsche and ex BTCC driver David Leslie won the britcar race in a BMW. It was Ex BTCC team Synchro Motorsports debut with their new Prodcution spec Honda Civic Type R driven by Alan Blencowe. Also there was an interesting Alfa 156 Super tourer in the Production Saloon (PS1) race.

The weather conditions were completely insane, an entire years weather in one day. The Main Britcar race had to have two safety car sessions for Horizontal Blizzards!

My 11 year old son kept asking why we can't have these cars back in the BTCC. He would have been 3 the last time we saw them racing in 2000.
When I found out this car was competing in the LMA Euro Saloons we just had to go.
Have to admit the Rapid Fit and the original 93/94 ICS liveries are my favourites. My son now wants me to have our Mondeo sprayed etc. in the Rapid Fit Livery. :lol:

Nice shots.:) There are a couple of Vectras in that series. One is a Vectra challenge car but the other is a supeer tourer but its an Opel version from europe rather than an Ex BTCC machine. There are a couple of photos in my Flickr account from the Silverstone meeting.
