We had a great day yesterday. The racing was spectacular as always and the weather was fine if a bit chilly.
I got really lucky and met a mate from work who gave me some hospitality suite tickets. The view we had was probably the best view in the entire circuit as we could see the whole track and we were setup with tables, chairs & a little kitchen to make complimentary cups of tea and coffee. I took a load of photo's which I'll get posted up as soon as I can but I'm at work ATM so I'll sort it later for now heres a poor quality camera phone pic of the view we had of the grid.

One of my favorites is the last one with Onslow Coles spin in Paddock Hill Bend.

Check out the size of that Clio cup grid!!!! This season there are 43 cars entered into the championship but they could only let 34 race at Brands. 2 Started from the pit lane before some smarty pants counts all the cars LOL

The A1 GP pic caused a lot of pain as I was hanging over the pit wall to get the photo during the lunch time pit walkabout and display, and Robbie passed right underneath me, I was buffeted by his dirty air, he was that close! and it made my camera go haywire as well as my ears ring for 3 hours after.

oh and regarding the clio grid the 2 from the pit lane were reserves it was the top 16 from each heat that went in to the final. the reserves were 17th in their heats

Goodness! I was just going to say that Sonofzelda and I have just set up a charity to collect and send out-of-fashion anoraks to the needy in Chile. Of course we'll be keeping the stylish ones for ourselves.
