Defo Brands for me but then I've never been to the Rock as it's quite a drive from Hastings

Definately Brands Hatch. I liked Rockingham today, but if I had to chose to miss one round Rockingham would be the one to go!

Brands and Rockingham are both superb for viewing.

I think I remember someone saying in another thread that there's no paddock access at Brands (but I could be mistaken).

However... given the choice, it's got to be the season opener - so Brands it is! You never know, your dad might enjoy it so much that you'll get to go to Rockingham too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :D

I just wish I could get down to Brands for the first meeting.

You only get the lunchtime pitlane walkabout at Brands as there is no access at other times whereas at Rockingham I presume (not having been there as yet) that it is like Thruxton, Snetterton and Donington and you can go down there whenever you like

brands is good as if your on the island bit its amazing how close you get to the cars, and you can see a lot of the circuit. If you go rockingham you can see all the circuit from the main grandstand but your not as close!

If you just want to sit and watch the racing, then Rockingham is the place - as that is all that you can do! Yes, there may well be access to the back of the garages at Rockingham but that's about it. Don't know which grandstands will be in use on race day, so you may not get much choice of viewing position. The back of the circuit is also a bit far away. I much prefer Brands, where you can get close to the action at several different points around the circuit.

as Brooklands says - if you want to feel the cars going past and be close then Brands - if you want a bit of comfort and a superb view and probably better racing then Rockingham.
