So, Turkington takes the first pole of the season. & good on him, the Seat's needed some competition and it looks like they won't have it all their own way this season. What are everyone's race predictions for tomorrow?? I think Turkington will be quick off the line (As everybody has said for the past few weeks), but perhaps Plato has the advantage over the race distance, all Turkington needs to do is drive a clean race. Brand Hatch Indy is a tight circuit, but I reckon a Plato tradmark move will be the order of the day going into Clearways (Is it clearways the last corner?? I checked on the track profile on this website, but it's a bit confuusing). Other surprises include the pace of Murray throughout practise and up to the crash in qualifying(Although, unfortunate that he probabnly wont race tomorrow) and Adam Jones (Out-qualifying both Allison & Howell). Nice to see the Vauxhalls up there and Team Halfords not that far behind. It's going to be one heck of a season. Top 15 covered by 1second, F1 needs to learn from this!

P.S. What happened to Richard Marsh?

i reckon plato will come from the outside and try to to go round turkington. turkington will defend his line and hit plato as he comes down paddock hill, knocking plato into a spin. spinning plato will hit his teammate and both seats will be out , calling for a safety car which'll eradicate turkington's lead. Further back, matt neal will try a move into paddock hill, replicating plato's move but jordan will back off, giving matt 8th, which'll become 6th as the seats crash out. at the restart after the safety car period giovanardi will get too agressivs trying a move on turkington, leaving the door open for chilton to slither into 2nd which'll become 1st as turkington spins on the bumpy exit to druids.

just a rough guess:rolleyes:

My prediction would be Colin walking away with it. The BMW should be good round brands tomorrow. The seats will give it there all, but not sure about the pair of them racing. I wouldn't have a clue to say about matt neal, all i have to say is that, that is an excellent starting position for a car that has had hardly any miles

If that is what happens, you have to get a lottery ticket.

Wouldn't it be strange if that's exactly what happened?! Be extremely exciting if it did aswell! I'm not so sure about Neal, hopefully the car is fast, but it looks like he did a "Wonder Lap" when the track wasn't busy and the car will only be strong later in the season. Still, an amazing achievement for it to even be there. The Vauxhall's right on the pace though and Matt Jackson finally realising his potential (Did he drive a yellow Ford Focus in the Production class in 2001?? I seem to remember him crahsing heavily at Brands in the rain when MG took their first win). Also, Hughes done a good job to be within a second of pole, a big improvement over this time last year!

why does no one trust my prediction, i mean it could happen, couldn't it?

p.s. race 2 will be won by giovanardi and race 3 will be stopped at 3/4 distance after pinkney is kidnapped by the South East England Pinkney Appreciation Society
p.p.s pinkney's abduction will happen at druids, cos thats where the cars go slowest

trust me on this:D :D :D :D

i think its cos without the dose of enetertainment btcc produces, the last few months have been real hard for me. some people may view the predictions as stupid and, yes, on reflection i doubt pinkney's followers would get that agressive but the first race prediction could happen, maybe, i think

you'd laugh if pinkney did get kidnapped though, wouldnt you?:)

If Colin gets a good clean start, I reckon he will have a good clear lead into Paddock. Let's hope he's been practising those rear wheel drive starts. RWD should give him the edge over FWD cars off the line. I expect Matt Neal to work his way up the field. Getting some good points. In race 3 expect Matt to start from pole and defend all the way to take a win.
After the comments of the first corner accidents expected. Does anyone remember 96 where alot of the cars were taken out before they even reached Druids, or 94 at Silverstone where the same thing happened.
I'm planning on sitting at Clearways tomorrow so I'd like to see the cars pass me at least once other than the warm up laps and the lap out of the pits.
I'm sitting at Clearways hoping for the frantic nudging that tends to take place towards the end of a race. :D

plato will win, turner 2nd, turk 3rd.. mind you giovarndi is in with a good chance and im betting on him winning it this year. Not sure about rest i think there is bound to be alot of mayhem in the middle of the pack, top 15 in qualifying covered by 1 second, theyre all as quick as each other.. It really is a shame murray is not racing tomorrow, it must be extremely frustrating not having any money and spending so long getting the car set up and ready, to go and crash it. I reckon he would have had 3 top 10 results..:(

Well, looks as if Seat have walked away with it, but the pace of Adam Jones in qualifying was no fluke, which is great to see. It just goes to show how slow that Lexus must have been if he managed a 6th place finish in a 2 year old Toledo! & he out-paced both Motorbase Toledo's aswell, it's just a shame that he's not competing in all rounds this season
