Cool, shame its not Gareth though :( But 3 cars are better than the 2-and-a-bit I was expecting! :)

Good news that there will be 3 MG's all season although I think Gareth deserved to be in the 3rd car.

Sadly I don't think VLR will be about either. IMO they will work on new cars for 2004. You never know tho. they never said anything until media day last year.

great news that MG are running 3 cars this year, i think they had to run 3 cars if they wanted to challenge for the manufacturers and teams championships.

i think VLR will be in the touring class this year, about a month ago i remember vic saying it might not be with 307's to start with because they might not be ready, so they'll race the 406's, but this was all subject to getting the budget.

ive just seen some pictures from the launch, not much of a launch! but i noticed theyre all wearing a shirt, exactly the same, which is grey/blac, with just one mark on it, the 'MG-Xpower' logo, these shirts arent old ones, they have a half zip, so have MG got no sponsors, i think so, but there must be something for turkey to get a seat, discuss! if you want to see the pic, have a look at the xpowermg the unnoficial site, click on the phots of btcc 2003 or look in the BTCC forum, and click on my post on mg confirm 3 cars thread and there is a link there.

Not bad news that.

When do you think we'll see a large arrival of European touring car drivers? I would like to think that MG or Honda would have been chasing Rydell or someone for a third driver. Vauxhall have O'Neill to Vauxhall, Chilton to Honda and Turkington to MG.

Quite young guys there with not too much experience.

Three MGs that great. I always thought that Colin was much faster than Howell

i think gareths better than turkington (bt no disrespect 2 turkey!), as ive said before, he looked like one of/the most profesional driver at brands hatch, amazin job, id rather howell be the works MG driver, but at least they are running 3 cars, hopefully gareth will get a GA astra drive if he cant get a ZS drive, but id way way way prefer him to be in a ZS, there must be at least 4 MG-ZS toca cars just sitting either in parts or un-used somewhere, such a waste.

I can't wait to see the scraps the third car drivers will be getting into! My moneys on O'Neill, how bout you guys?

Oh and I'd love to see Turkington beat Reid for championship points. :)

i think the 3 new young works drivers, o'neill, turkington and chilton wil have some terrific battles, i reckon its between o'neill and turkington for who will finish higher at the end of the season, but i wouldn't rule out chilton either.
