Looking through the TV guide over the last 2 months and there is a COMPLETE ABSANCE of the BTCC listings. I stumbled across the last 2 minutes of coverage a couple of weeks ago on ITV3! In the 19 years of following the BTCC only 1988 was as poorly advertised. ITV is showing highlights at 12.40 in the morning.
Its sad that this countries premiere motorsport is off loaded to obscure digital channels and to early hours I the morning.

May I suggest you watch ITV3 at 4PM tomorrow. The BTCC is advertised and is in the tv listings. For the first 5 meeting I think it is on ITV3 the rest are on ITV. Go check your TV times and stop sounding like you put no effort in.

Motors do not show the BTCC any more after choosing to withdraw their coverage at the end of the 2006 season.

Just finished my all-dayer in front of the tv :) had to break it up to watch the footie, but finally finished.
Awesome day of racing to be honest. Well worth my £15 and still have Croft to come.

Sadly I can't get Setanta but I think yesterdays ITV3 coverage from Thruxton was the best yet... straight into highlights of Race 1 and Race 2, lots of cameras and Race 3 live.

Yes I agree that the TV listings for the BTCC will be in the ITV3 section. Of course they are, I should have known that because its WAS SO WELL ADVERTISED!
If you type in "Televison" on the BTCC.NET website it comes back with ONE hit, for LAST YEARS coverage. I stand by my comment that this is the worst year for coverage since I stumbeled across graham hathaway crashing a yellow RS500 in 1988.
From someone who would finish weekend work early and plan my weekends around the coverage on BBC1 /2 this sucks
If I were a spponsor paying all that money to support the cars I would be Livid.
I'm not a sponser so I'm mildy annoyed.

I never seem to miss it!! All you have to do is look on the freeview tv guide on raceday!! Its not rocket science. Take a bit of time and actually look. You could even look online.
As stated on this website the races are on ITV3 for half season, and then will go on ITV1 after this. The coverage so far has being great. Keep up the good work ITV.

Calendar -> TV Timetable will tell you all you need to know!

And there are surely more hours of BTCC coverage this year then ever before; hardly the worst year for BTCC on TV!

:( im not pleased with the coverage either but ITV clearly seem much more concerned with football than btcc or wrc. The BBC should show them again instead of ITV.

The TV coverage of the BTCC is excellent. I will try and watch the first few rounds of the BTCC on ITV3. If not, i'll watch the highlights on ITV1. And i doubt that the BTCC will go back to the BBC

Enjoyed another all dayer on Setanta yesterday :) They interviewed Alan before race 3 and for some reason he looks nothing like i imagined. I always had Alan Gow down as a small man, starting to lose the hair and glasses. After seeing him on TV i can safely say i would never mess with him down a dark alley :/
