Teams that go & comeback in 07?

I believe Jim Pockington's team decided not to race at Thuxton due to more redevelopment to their car. Whilst this is a good thing for more competition in the long run will the team get weight penalities or a fine?

I would hope NOT as I think teams on restricted budgets should not get penalised.

Is it acceptable for teams in general to sign up for a season, race at some tracks and then decide half way through to pull out? Or even to come back in the same year?

I would appreciate your thoughts

We cannot (and would not) force teams to compete at every event if they are clearly unable to do so.

They do not get a fine for missing a meeting, but could be subject to a weight penalty - which is at my discretion, depending on the circumstances.
